Second Camping Experience Part 2: Having Some Fun

After the drama of getting our tent site, we were ready for some playtime with the boys and went to explore.  Of course, they needed a picture in the Yogi cutout and in his basket. 



I was really bummed David wouldn't climb in.  He is such a party pooper sometimes. 

We then headed tot he playground.  This is the only almost nonblurry picture I have of the boys.  I'm still learning how to use my new camera, sigh.  Anywho, Owen loved going on the zipline like thing from one side of the playset to the other.  If he stopped at any point, David would pretend he was going to tickle him and O would wiggle and scoot himself the rest of the way across.  His giggles are the best. 
 

After playing for a a bit, we decided to go back to the site and hang out.  While we did that, Owen worked on a new page in his Writer's Notebook.  His first grade teacher Mrs. Warnock would be so proud that he's continued writing all summer long!  He wrote four stories while we were gone.  (Love that kid!) Gav thinks his big brother is the best author ever.
